Power Efficiency Corporation Files Two New Provisonal Patents

Announces Key Enhancements to Intellectual Property Platform

October 25, 2007 – Las Vegas, NV – Power Efficiency Corporation (OTCBB: PEFF.OB), a green energy company focused on efficiency technologies for electric motors, today announced it recently filed two new provisional patents on new inventions relating to methods of controlling the power supplied to a motor during rapid fluctuations in load.
One patent filing relates to the Company’s three phase product, which applies to motors on crushers, escalators, granulators, MG set elevators, and a variety of other industrial equipment. The second patent filing relates to the Company’s single phase product, which is targeted at motors in appliances and residential settings, such as pool pumps, refrigerators and clothes washers.

“I am pleased to announce the filing of two more provisional patents,” said Steven Strasser, the Company’s Chairman and CEO. “To date we have filed five provisional patents on substantial and proprietary inventions to our E-Save Technology™ platform. We believe these improvements are excellent enhancements to our products and provide us with a technological competitive advantage.”

“With the current global need for energy efficiency and reductions in carbon emissions, ownership of intellectual property for improving constant speed electric motors is an important asset for the Company. Our goal is to control the key intellectual property for improving the efficiency of constant speed electric motors. When lightly loaded, these motors can waste up to 50% of the electricity they consume.”
Strasser continued: “The Company’s intellectual property portfolio is also important in order to negotiate supply and licensing agreements with original equipment manufacturers of motors, motor controls and motor-driven equipment.”

Power Efficiency’s first product based on E-Save Technology™ is a Motor Efficiency Controller for applications such as escalators, crushers, granulators, mixers, saws, and MG elevators. Power Efficiency is also developing a new product based on E-Save Technology™ for the tens of millions of small motors found in applications such as residential air conditioning, pool pumps, and clothes dryers. The company is working with manufacturers to incorporate this technology directly into new motors and appliances. For more information go to www.powerefficiency.com.
